Does anachronism connect the eras?

The role of analog

Ironically, the development of weapons for war led to the advancement of technologies such as computers, which now support our lives today.

The modern era was built on anachronistic ideas and imaginations that continued to evolve in pursuit of a convenient and prosperous life, and these anachronistic lifestyles and tools can become luxurious.

We are living in such strange times right now.

A world where mass production is easy thanks to advances in design and processing technology.
Knowledge that was unnecessary in the past is now necessary, and tools that were necessary for daily life are no longer necessary.

It must have been difficult to make the tools necessary for daily life at that time. Since they were not mass-produced, we can imagine that unique tools were modified to suit the individual and were treated with care.

If you think about it, the reason why outdoor activities like camping have become so popular recently is that people are so tired of convenience that they can even consider it a luxury to experience a slightly inconvenient lifestyle.

If people can enjoy reliving the everyday life of the past, it makes sense that they are also excited by analog things and tools.

It's impossible to imagine what kind of changes the world will undergo in the future, but I believe that people instinctively desire convenience and not happiness.

The scribbled note told me

When I returned to Japan from living abroad, I received letters from everyone I had lived with.

I remember sitting on a bench at the airport and suddenly remembering the letter, I opened the envelope and found the English text, written in illegible, scribbled in cursive on a piece of paper torn from a notebook, and I remember crying with a puzzled look on my face.

I remember being surprised that he was more aware of and sensitive to my words, actions, and emotions than I had thought.

The reason I decided to create a letter set at Lileo Store is because I felt that these ordinary words, which are neither beautiful nor polite, have the power to move people's hearts and make them laugh or express gratitude.

We believe there is no need to force ourselves to do something inconvenient, but as a brand we aim to create products that are not just convenient tools, but that also evoke individuality and a sense of attachment.

We ask for your understanding in any minor inconveniences, and we will strive to provide you with simple, lovable tools that you can enjoy.
